UX AND UI DESIGN
The most pertinent question may be what defines a UX and
UI designer and what are their responsibilities? While User Experience (UX) is
an assortment of responsibilities that deals with optimization of a product so
that customers can effectively use it, User Interface (UI) Design is how well
it is appreciated, the appearance and interactivity of that particular product.
UX determines why a particular product should be used and UI decides how well
the product looks to the consumers.
The role and the responsibilities vary depending on the
company and the product types. We, at Colorgraphicz, cater to all your needs of
both UX and UI designs. We understand and appreciate your time and value and we
deliver products that are easy to use, friendly and reachable to the target
customers.
UX DESIGNER
An important part of the UX designer’s job is to decide
what the framework of the app will be so that users can effectively use it
without being lost or confused. This outlines the success of the product that
you are building.
If your products deliver the values promised and is
positively highly interactive with the users (intentioned customers), you have
been successful in building a product that is not only usable and user
friendly, but will also push your business goals ahead.
Starting from scratch and building the product keeping
these things in mind will enable you to establish a name for yourself by
allowing the target audience ease of use, convenience and the right balance of
information and product access.
The UX Designer is thus involved in every step of the
process – from perception to implementation to performance. It is extremely
crucial to build a product that the customers would want to use and will need
to use, with ease and efficacy.
UI DESIGNER
The common notion that people share, and quite correctly,
is that the UI designers’ job is to build further on the framework provided by
the UX designer and make the product visually more appealing to the customers.
As simple as it sounds, the job is even more difficult.
The way the product is placed and looks should itself be able to tell the
consumers about the purpose of the whole interface.
For example, the UX designer may specify what a
particular element in the framework should be – can be a price slider, size
options, colour variations etc. It is the UI designer’s job to turn that
instruction into a visually appealing element that itself will speak of the
purpose just by looking at it. It is a humongous task and entails efficacy on
part of the UI designer.
The UI Designer may also be given the liberty to suggest
different placements or types of elements to create a better accessible
interface. All of it is done, in coordination, keeping the user’s ease at mind.
Some of the major responsibilities of the UI designers
include:
Interface layout
Interface design
Visual design
Interaction design
Establishing visual guidelines
It is through constant coordination and support, your
product will achieve the desired goals.
